The Office of Culture of the Consell de Formentera is pleased to announce that at 7.00pm, Monday 7 December, the Ajuntament Vell exhibition space in Sant Francesc will welcome the 2022-2023 Christmas group exhibition.

The display includes an assortment of works running the stylistic gamut by fourteen artists who live on Formentera or keep a close relationship with the island. The show will include paintings by Álvaro Mendoza, Ana Celada, Enric Riera, Teresa Matilla, Maribel Escandell, Marco Sánchez, Fran Lucas, Raquel Caramazana and Diana Masiliauskas, drawings by Elena Vinyarskaya, collage by Jorge Traverso and illustrations by Juan Moreno. There will also be sculptures by Aaron Keydar and Franz Kokowashi.

Susana Labrador, councillor of culture and festivities, applauded the featured artists, who will "come together once again for this special holiday to share their creations with the island". Labrador also added that "the exhibition is proof that local art is alive and well", something she described as "a point of personal satisfaction; I know just how crucial that is, and how representative it is of Formentera".

The exhibition will be on view 11.00am to 2.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm, Monday to Saturday, 13 December to 6 January. It will be closed Sundays, holidays and Monday mornings.
