Traditional cooking course in January, February and March

The Office of Heritage of the Consell de Formentera, and Es Forn Gastronomic Association of Formentera is organising a traditional cooking course in January, February and March.

The course will be divided into five sessions, each focused on a signature dish of the island's traditional gastronomy. The first session will take place at 5.00pm, Tuesday 31 January, in the kitchen of the CEIP Sant Ferran de ses Roques school canteen, where participants will learn to make sofrit pagès.

At the remaining sessions on 14 and 21 February and 14 and 28 March, students will prepare guisat de peix, hervit d'ossos, peix escabetxat and flaó, respectively.

Places are limited and interested parties should send an email to coneixpatrimoni@conselldeformentera.cat. A confirmation email will be sent to individuals once successfully registered.
