Mural of rural women of Formentera

Today a mural crafted by artist Carolina Adán Caro on the occasion of International Women's Day, 8 March, was unveiled. The mural, painted on a wall of Marc Ferrer Secondary School, pays tribute to the women of Formentera who dedicated their lives to work in the countryside. Ana Juan and Alejandra Ferrer, president and vice president, respectively, of the Consell de Formentera; Mercedes Garrido, Balearic minister of the president's office, public function and equality, and Maria Duran, director of Ibdona, were present.
