Pop-rock tunes to ring in the new year on Formentera

The Office of Culture of the Consell de Formentera has teed up a New Year's Eve concert courtesy of Bruixa Express. From 1.00am, the Catalan cover band will ring in 2023 with a set-list of pop-rock music at Sa Senieta festival tent in Sant Francesc.

Eight musicians with more than a decade of experience will take the stage and turbo-charge New Year's Eve celebrations.

Bruixa Express
The Lleida-based musicians of Bruixa Express came together in 2006 to form a cover band on the strength of extensive careers in show business. The group have built a repertoire of classics of the Catalan, Spanish and global pop-rock canon, wselections from today's hit parade underwriting wide audience appeal and "an unfailing predilection for stage aesthetics and audiovisual effects to make concerts an unforgettable experience for everyone."

Set list
On the ever-changing Bruixa Express set list, the group confide, "the crowd-pleasers remain unchanged and new numbers keep things fresh." Audiences can expect hits from Sopa de Cabra, Bon Jovi, the Beatles, Sau, Platero y Tú and more.
