From A2 to C1, twelve new Catalan-language courses help students prep for Jan. ’22 exams

The Formentera Language Advisory Service is pleased to announce it will offer language instruction from beginners’ level A2 to the more advanced C1 for 12 groups of Catalan learners. The classes are geared towards preparing students for the next official round of Catalan exams, which the Balearic Islands’ Directorate General of Language Policy (DGPOLING) has set for January 2022.

Space is limited and students can be enrolled in no more than one group at a time. After registering, and before the start of classes 13/14 October, students will receive an email confirming that they have been enrolled in their group of choice. Courses are free of charge.

Signups: September 20—October 6
Registration will run from Monday 20 September to Wednesday 6 October, and can be completed online throught the Virtual Citizen Information Office (OVAC) (https://ovac.conselldeformentera.cat) or during a pre-arranged in-person visit at the Citizen Information Office (OAC; Carrer Ramon Llull, 6, Sant Francesc). To schedule an appointment, call 971 32 10 87 between 3.30pm to 8.30pm.

Instruction is available for five groups of beginners (A2), two groups of intermediate B1, three intermediate B2 and two advanced C1. First quarter instruction won’t include advanced level C2 because DGPOLING has announced that January’s exams will not include that level. Course schedules are made available during the registration process.
